GTA 5 works best on PS5 than on Xbox series X

It seems that the version of PlayStation 5 of Grand Theft Auto V works better than the Xbox Series X | s version. The new remastery of GTA 5 gives the game a technical boost with a higher frame rate, 4K resolution and all kinds of new effects so that console players admire them. PS5 players can also take advantage of Dualsense’s new functions, such as vibrations and comments that react climate and road conditions, among other things. The ReSaster offers some marginal updates, but it is not too much amazing and it is not a jump as big as the first relaunch of the game.

However, it seems that some people may have a better experience with the game depending on their platform. A new Youtube channel video Elanalistadebits compared the different versions of the game side by side and revealed that the PS5 version of GTA V is noticeably better than the Xbox version X | S. The game not only looks more clear and, in general, a little more detailed in PS5, but the frame rate is also maintained under demanding conditions. The rate of frames in PS5 remains constant, only loses a few frames at particularly explosive moments, while the Xbox series X | S falls from 60 FPS at 40 s sometimes. Although the game still looks good at the Xbox consoles, the PS5 version seems to be the most impressive technically of the two.

In addition to that, PS5 players get free online GTA during the first three months. Players can even keep it after finishing this window, so it is just another advantage for PlayStation players. It is not exactly clear what is causing this type of discrepancies between PS5 and Xbox, especially because Xbox Series X has been announced as the most powerful console ever created, but it is an interesting comparison.
