The Real Truth|What's Going On With Zenimax?
The official Twitter of Xbox News has recently declared: “Confirmed: the Xbox Studio Zenimax Online, the Elder Scrolls Online developer, works on a brand new AAA IP, built on a brand new game engine. The title is in Development since at least 2018. In response to Xbox News Tweet, Alex Tardif, Chief Graphic Engineer at Zenimax Online, said, “I do not have much to say about it, but it was so much fun to create a whole new engine. With the rarity of these kinds of things nowadays, I feel lucky to be in this studio while we invest heavily in our own technology.

Zenimax Media was recently acquired by Microsoft and it seems that Zenimax Online is already working hard on their next project. Although we are fans of The Elder Scrolls Online, we look forward to seeing what developers have prepared for us pre-production. Given the number of people that developers seek to hire, the title is apparently in the early phases of development. It will be interesting to see how much Microsoft is practical with Zenimax Online with this next AAA title in pre-production given the ad schedule if close to the acquisition of Microsoft.
